Central Train station can be found a few blocks down the road (corner of Ann and Edward Street) and frequent taxis also made it easy and convenient to get around town. For travellers, the Midtown is a good choice if you want easy access to Eagle Street, George Street or the Universities. It's also convenient if you want (or need) to head to the Queen Street financial area as well as across the river to the Brisbane Convention Centre and South Bank.FACILITIES (IN MORE DETAIL)The apartments have wonderful floor to ceiling windows and solid drapes in the bedrooms to block out the light. The bedrooms are compact and quiet. The beds are comfortable and there is a good amount of space to put clothes away. The apartments do offer a spacious living area, full kitchen and a private balcony. The bathrooms have a shower only and although small don't feel cramped the way that some inner city hotel bathrooms do. Internet access is easy and you receive 30 minutes free during your stay, either from the wi-fi in the lobby, or from your room. There is ipad hire for business services (for use in the lobby). You can make yourself comfortable on the lobby lounge and wireless print to the reception printer - ideal for printing boarding passes for your next flight.The hotel offers parking for travellers arriving by car. Self parking rates are $25 per day. Considering public car parks in the area can cost between $60 - $90 a night, this is a great price.The hotel provides laundry facilities (washer and dryer) in all guest rooms. Driving and coming from South - Take the Elizabeth Street exit, after 3 blocks turn right into Edward Street, turn right again into Charlotte Street and we are on the left hand side just past the Energex building.
